Discovering Florida State University – Restaurants

Tallahassee, home to Florida State University, has many amazing dining options. Whatever you’re in the mood for, Tallahassee has you covered with great restaurants close to Florida State University’s campus or just a short drive away from it.

Madison Social

Probably one of the busiest restaurants in Tallahassee. Madison Social is not only known for its really good comfort food and Sunday brunches, but also their drinks. In fact, they have drink challenges every month. Buy every drink on that monthly drink list and win a shirt. Just a heads up, they change the designs each month!

Gordo's

One of the most iconic restaurants in Tallahassee is Gordo’s. If you’re looking for the best Cuban food in Tallahassee, this place is it. Their most popular drink is the Gordo’s Smash and it would most definitely be a crime leaving without ordering one! Also don’t forget to try their famous Gordo’s sauce!

Brick House

Not only does Brick House have amazing drink specials almost every day of the week, but they’re also known for their great pizza, garlic knots, and (my personal favorite) loaded tater tots. Situated on College Ave., it’s prime location makes it busy almost all week long, with students coming to eat here before/after going out. It also has a nice atmosphere if you’re just looking to grab a drink and some good food.
